A Love Song for President Xi Jinping, From Hunan

Posted on February 21, 2016, this video, a song by Li Siyu, is a song about how grateful people feel about President Xi visiting poor villages in Hunan, where people from the Miao ethnic group inhabit. The song celebrates Xi visit to people’s homes and his taking the time to talk to them.

The song repeats “I love you” several times.

It also contains Xi’s policy to support the poor.

On a cultural note, it takes musical inspiration from Hunan traditional music.
