Xi Jinping pledges ‘great renewal of Chinese nation’
During his second appearance after election, President Xi Jinping “reiterated the country’s determination to keep its pursuit of socialism with Chinese characteristics”, and stress the need of the revival of Chinese Nation, which is the greatest China dream. Xi believes that China will become a richer and stronger country with greater democracy and harmony in the near future. The rejuvenation of a major country, scholars say, includes various aspects, such as economic development, civil dignity and healthy relationship with other countries.
